YouMatterToo · Terms of use

A few thoughtful agreements.

These terms explain how YouMatterToo works and the choices you keep. They describe the current development version; they do not promise that an unreleased feature is already available.

A place that fits your family

YouMatterToo is a tool for everyday organization, communication support and personal downtime. Choose what helps, edit the ready suggestions and leave the rest. You do not need a profile to use the app.

Your private things stay with you

You agree that the app saves your plans, contacts, notes, personal writing, settings, selected pictures and recordings on your device so its features can work offline. These private records are not sent to Aiterrios servers, used for advertising or sold. Local storage is protected by your device controls; it is not a separate encrypted vault. If the phone is lost, reset or the app is removed, local records may be lost unless you have a usable backup.

You choose when to go online

Accepting these terms enables online books and articles as explained beside the acceptance button. You can switch them off separately in My Space. Open Library and publishers receive connection information, such as your IP address, and requests such as a book search. On the web preview, article feeds pass through the local preview service. Your private notes and plans are not part of those requests. Connecting to the community is separate; shared posts, replies and reports are stored by the community service. Switching a connection off stops new requests, but does not erase material already shared.

A backup in your own Drive

If you choose Google connection and approve Google’s own permission screen, you authorize the app to save and retrieve your text backups in the hidden YouMatterToo folder of your personal Google Drive. It cannot access your other Drive files. Transfers go directly between your device and Google, without an Aiterrios backup server. In this version, backups run when you choose Back up now; signing in alone does not create or continuously update a backup. Photos and voice recordings are not included. A successful saved copy can be restored on a compatible device; changes made after that copy are not included. Google manages its account, storage and service under its own terms.

Room for different experiences

Speak from your own experience and treat other families with respect. Do not post someone else’s private details. You can remove your own messages or report a concern. Anonymous means your chosen name is hidden from other readers; it is not a promise of complete untraceability. This preview does not have continuous moderation.

To protect this welcoming space, the development team reserves the right to remove inappropriate content and restrict access when these guidelines are broken. Serious or repeated violations may lead to a permanent ban from the community. These steps are intended to protect members and their ability to take part with confidence.

Books, ideas and sources

You keep the rights to your own writing. A private blog post stays on your device unless you choose to share it. Publishing in the community gives the service permission only to store and display that post for the community feature; it is not permission to sell your private data. Share only material you have the right to share. Books and articles remain the property of their authors and publishers. A source label is attribution, not a claim of ownership; some sources provide only summaries and may change or become unavailable.

Our website uses the same YouMatterToo identity. Its illustrations show an example of the app and are not a promise that every preview feature is publicly available. The app is still in development; download availability will be stated clearly.

Pictures, microphone and device choices

Pictures are chosen with the system picker and copied locally; the app does not browse your full gallery. Microphone access is requested when you choose to record or dictate. Built-in dictation requests on-device processing. Your keyboard is a separate service with its own privacy settings.

You stay in control

You can use the app without a profile and connect Google later. Acceptance is recorded locally with the terms version and date. You can turn optional connections off and revoke Google access through your Google account. Turning access off does not erase an existing Drive copy. You manage those copies through Google. Local export remains an alternative. Restoring a copy replaces local app data only after your confirmation. Routine use does not require repeated storage-consent messages; system permissions and confirmation before replacing data remain separate.

Availability and your rights

We aim to provide a useful and considerate service. It is an everyday support tool, not a medical, emergency or professional advice service. External information, connectivity and backups may be unavailable or incomplete, so check that an important backup has succeeded. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

A clear record of these terms

The version and date above identify these terms. Material changes to storage, sharing or optional connections will be explained before taking effect. A new purpose or broader Google permission will not be treated as covered by this acceptance. You can review these terms again at any time in the app.
